Tuesday^ November 3, 1998 6:30 a.m. — 7:30 p.m. at Town Hail Hurricane Bonnie Debris Removal The Town has now completed removal of debris caused by Hurricane Bonnie. Total reimbursement of $158,099 for the clean-up due to Hurricane Bonnie has been approved by FEMA representatives. Flooding East End Project Preliminary engineering plans have been completed for the east end flooding project. Mr. David Criser has been asled to give a report on these plans at the December 8, Board of Commissioners meeting. Powell Bill Fund The Department of Transportation fonwarded $59,332.27 to Pine Knoll Shores from the 1998 Powell Bill Fund and the 1998 N.C. Highway Trust Fund. The Powell Bill Fund restricts use of the allocation to maintenance and construction of local streets and right-of -ways. Resurfacing of Cedar and Hoiiv Roads Cedar Road and Holly Road will be resurfaced in the month of November.
